Nicola Bulley, the sister of a missing mother, urges people to keep an open mind.

The sister of a missing mother who vanished on a canine walk is encouraging individuals from general society to “keep a receptive outlook” and proceed with the inquiry.

Nicola Bulley, 45, was most recently seen close to the Waterway Wyre in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire seven days prior.

Lancashire Police said on Friday officials accepted she had fallen into the waterway.

Yet, Ms Bulley’s sister, Louise Cunningham, said there was “no proof at all” of that.

In a post on Facebook, she said: “Kindly continue sharing my Nikki”, adding that a stream fall was “only a hypothesis”.

She added: “Everybody needs to keep a receptive outlook as not all CCTV and leads have been examined completely, the police affirmed the case is nowhere near finished.”

A significant hunt has been keeping on, including police jumpers, drones, a helicopter and search and salvage groups yet no hint of her has been found.

Police said their “working speculation is that she has fallen into the waterway for reasons unknown”.

They said there was “no proof” of anything dubious.

“Nothing remains to be proposed from every one of the broad inquiries we have made that anything inappropriate has happened to [Ms Bulley] or that there was any wrongdoing,” Supt Sally Riley said.Any outsider contribution in her vanishing.”

She said it stayed a missing individual request.

Ms Bulley was most recently seen strolling her canine Willow close to the Stream Wyre subsequent to dropping off her kids, matured six and nine, at school on the morning of 27 January.
